Delivery Information

Always Tracked & Recorded

Every order, parcel or pallet, tracked from our warehouse to your delivery address.

Free Delivery

Free pallet delivery to most UK postcodes. Smaller items usually go next-day.

Need It Sooner?

Express 2-3 Day and Next Working Day services are available at checkout.

How long delivery takes

Large items (saunas, steam shower cabins, baths) travel on a pallet. The standard service is free to most UK postcodes and takes 5-7 working days from order. Need it sooner? Express 2-3 Day and Next Working Day services are available at checkout … next-day orders need to be placed and paid before 12 noon.

Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are served on selected items only, with any additional shipping charge calculated automatically at checkout. Deliveries to Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man usually take 5-7 working days … a little longer for the remotest spots … and express options aren't available for these areas. For the Republic of Ireland, local customs duty or VAT may be collected on import … that's charged by customs, and isn't included in our price.

Smaller items and spare parts are usually sent on a tracked next-day service.

How your delivery arrives

Whichever retailer you bought from, your Vidalux order comes directly from our warehouse … we hold the stock and deliver on behalf of all our retailers, so every order gets the same service.

We agree the day with you. Once your order's in, our dispatch team will be in touch to agree a delivery day that suits you. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, and you can pick any working day after the earliest available date. On the day itself, your delivery can arrive any time between 8am and 6pm … there are no timed slots, and tracking updates come directly from the courier.

Kerbside delivery. Pallets are delivered to your property boundary or the nearest hard standing. Insurance terms mean the driver can't bring items inside or upstairs, so have at least one able-bodied person on hand … two for heavier items. Items are sized to pass through a standard doorway … if any doorway on the route is narrower than about 45cm, tell us before you order and we'll check the model for you. The pallet itself is yours to keep or dispose of.

Someone needs to be in. All deliveries need a signature. If nobody's available on the agreed day, a re-delivery charge applies … so if your plans change, tell us as early as you can.

Tricky access? A narrow lane, a long driveway, nowhere for a large wagon to stop … tell us when you order and we'll look at the options. A smaller vehicle can sometimes be arranged, and specialist delivery may carry an extra charge. If we know in advance, we can usually plan around it.

Check everything within 48 hours

This is the one thing we ask of every customer, and it protects you:

  1. Inspect your delivery when it arrives. On a pallet delivery you have around 20 minutes to offload and look over the items.
  2. If anything looks damaged, write the specific damage on the delivery sheet and tell the driver. Signing just "damaged" isn't enough for the insurance … note what and where.
  3. A scuffed or torn box isn't a reason to refuse. The packaging is designed to absorb transit knocks … mark the note and accept, then check the contents. Only refuse a delivery outright if you can hear broken glass inside.
  4. Unpack and check everything within 48 hours of delivery, even if you're not installing yet. Transit damage reported after 48 hours can't normally be accepted … don't store boxes away unchecked.
  5. Don't book your installer until you've checked. We can't cover trade costs if an item needs replacing before installation.

If something's missing, check inside the shower tray box first … smaller parts like taps and hoses are often packed in the tray void for protection.

Remote areas and surcharges

Note for Andy
Your existing surcharge section, zone map and fee table stay exactly as they are … this block already does its job. The paragraph below just refreshes the wording around it.

Geographical surcharges apply automatically at checkout for remote, borderline-mainland and island areas, because carriers charge more to reach them. Enter your postcode in the cart, or use the delivery calculator on any product page, to see your exact fee before you buy … especially if you're in Cornwall, Aberdeenshire, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
